Janice Holbrooks 63, passed away Tuesday December 6, 2016 at the Pikeville Medical Center.
She was born April 4, 1953 in Pikeville, KY to the late John Huffman Jr. & Lucy May “Coleman” Huffman.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by one brother Ronnie Huffman.
Janice is survived by her loving children, daughter Tina (Harrison) Thacker & son Willie (Angela Martin) McCoy all of Pikeville, KY, her companion and good friend for many years Ronnie Holbrooks, five adoring grandchildren; Ryan McCoy, Kori McCoy, Ethan Thacker, Micha Holbrooks & Johnathan Huffman, one brother, Johnny Huffman, his wife Linda of TN, one niece, Misty (Huffman) Anderson, nephews, Ronnie Dean Huffman, Jr. & John Michael Huffman, a sister-in-law, Gladys Huffman & a host of family & friends.
She was a member of the Old Regular Baptist Church.
Janice touched many lives, she will be sadly missed by all who treasured her.
Family will accept friends at the Thacker Memorial Chapel, Friday December 9, 2016 at 6PM-10PM & Saturday December 10, 2016 with services each night at 7PM with Old Regular Baptist ministers officiating. Funeral services will be Sunday December 11, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. Burial will follow at the Coleman Family Cemetery on Pompey.
