Beatrice”Hall” May 76, of Shelbiana, KY passed away at her residence Tuesday February 21, 2017.
She was born February 17, 1941 in Dickenson County, VA, to the late Steven McCowan Hall & Nellie Victoria “Owens” Hall.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Leonard Monroe May, sisters, Evelyn Louise May & Rita Gail Hall, brothers, Steve Hall Jr., Teddy Darrell Hall, Billy Joe Hall,
Beatrice is survived by her loving children; Lisa Shannon Adkins, her husband Donnie, of Shelbiana, Kathy Lorraine Compton, her husband Tommy of Robinson Creek & Amanda Gail Compton, her husband John Lawrence of Sookey’s Creek, Dusty Simpson Charles, her husband Mike of Shelbiana, Hank Douglas Simpson, his wife Vickie of Shelbiana, KY, brothers, Robert Lee (Betty) Hall of Somerset, KY, Donnie Ray (Patty) Hall of Pikeville, sisters, Lois Elaine Hall of VA, Mary Susan (Danny) Stephens of Martin, Elizabeth Faye (Gary) Deel of VA, grandchildren, Donnie Lee (Melinda) Adkins, of TN, Anthony Steven (Carly) Compton of GA, Lauren Paige Compton & Amiee Leann Compton, great-grandchildren Kaitlyn Leigh Adkins, Abigail Mae Adkins & Leona Jane Compton, brother in law Roger May, sister in law Loretta Sue Hall, & her adoring cat, Sam.
Beatrice will be sadly missed by all who treasured her.
The family will accept friends at the Thacker Memorial Chapel Wednesday Feb. 22, 2017 at 6PM and Thursday Feb. 23, 2017 with services each night at 7PM. Funeral services will be Friday February 24, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. with Harvilla Adkins, Chester Johnson, Teddy Honaker, Darrell Newsome & Others officiating.
Pallbearers are; Donnie E. Adkins, Tommy Compton, John Compton, Donnie L. Adkins, Tony Compton, Hank Simpson, Mike Charles, Drew Charles, & Dustin Charles. Burial will follow at the Annie E. Young Cemetery at Pikeville, KY.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Thacker Memorial Funeral Home of Pikeville, KY.
