Kenneth K. Kelly, age 88, of Wittensville, KY, passed from this life at the Paul B. Hall Medical Center in Paintsville, KY March 26, 2017. Kenneth was born December 16, 1928 to the late Palmer and Zelma Kelly in Pittsburg, PA.
Besides both of his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife, Sidney Marie Kelly.
Kenneth is survived by three daughters, Sharon Damron and Gladys Sword and her husband Elster, Kayla Howell both of Pikeville, KY; four sons, Dougie “Kevin” Hopkins and his wife, Melanie, Steve Hopkins, Ronnie Johnson and his wife, Sharon, and Glenn Johnson all of Pikeville, KY; three grandchildren, Jodi Johnson, Derek Sword, Ashley Beavers; and a host of great grandchildren; a very devoted companion, Martha Salvage.
He served his county proudly in the U.S. Army.
He was a treasure to his family and will be forever missed.
The family will accept friends at Full Gospel Church, Tuesday, March 28, 2017 and Wednesday, March 29, 2017 with services at 7:00 PM. Funeral services will be Thursday, March 30, 2017 at 1:00 PM. Keith Collins will be minister officiant over all services.
Military Honors will be conducted by the Johns Creek DAV Chapter #166. Burial will follow at the Justice Cemetery on Hurricane Creek of Pikeville, KY.
