Gail “Hylton”Smith, age 85, of Pikeville, KY passed away Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at her residence.
She was born November 4, 1931 in Pikeville, KY to the late Corbett and Sylvia “Johnson” Hylton.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Linton Smith & her sister, Madge Runyon.
Gail is survived by her loving sons, Robert Linton Smith, his wife Elissa & Scott Smith, his wife, Jenny all of Pikeville, KY; seven grandchildren, Hunter Smith of Pikeville, KY, Max Smith of Ithaca, NY, Erin Sullivan Smith of Allentown, PA, Evan Smith of Pikeville, KY, Madison Smith of Pikeville, KY, Evan Cox of Louisville, KY, Emily Vin Zant of Kansas City, MO; one great grandaughter, Katherine Vin Zant also of Kansas City, MO.

She was a treasure to her family and will be forever loved and missed.

The family will accept friends at the First Christian Church on Chloe Rd., for visitation Friday, May 26, 2017 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The funeral will be Saturday at 11:00 A.M. May 27, 2017 at the church. Randy Johnson will be officiating all services. Interment will follow at the Johnson Memorial Park at Pikeville, KY.
