Obituary for Donald Parsons
He was born February 15, 1950 in Pikeville, KY to the late Andrew and Helena “Chaney” Parsons.
Donald is survived by his loving wife: Betty Ratliff Parsons of Jefferson City, TN; One son: Chuck (Audrey) Parsons, Jefferson City, TN; two daughters: Aimee Norman, Paintsville, KY and Christie (Eric) Adkins, Pikeville, KY; two sisters: Doris Sammons, Pikeville, KY and Connie Ratliff, Elkhorn City, KY; ten grandchildren and one great grandchild.
The family will accept friends at the Thacker Memorial Chapel Thursday, October 26, 2017 at 6PM with a service starting at 7PM. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 27, 2017 at Noon with Old Regular Baptist Ministers officiating. DAV Honors will be conducted by Johns Creek Chapter #166. Entombment will follow in the Isaac Thacker Memorial Mausoleum at Annie E. Young Cemetery, Shelbiana, KY.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Thacker Memorial Funeral Home of Pikeville, Ky.
