Elwana Lynn Shepherd, 59, of Shelby Valley, KY passed away Saturday, December 30, 2017 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born January 20, 1958 to Isabella Stewart Adkins and the late Eugene Adkins in Pikeville, KY.

Besides her Father she was preceded in death by one Son-In-Law: Johnny Michael Little.

She is survived by her Mother: Isabella Adkins of Pikeville, KY; one Daughter: Ara Little of Pikeville, KY; one Grandson: Johnny Michael Little Jr. and two Brothers: Tony (Dianna) Adkins of Lick Creek, KY and Wayne (Leshia) Adkins of Pikeville, KY.

Elwana will be sadly missed by all who knew and treasured her.

The Family of Elwana will accept friends at the Thacker Memorial Funeral Home, Pikeville, Ky, Sunday, December 31, 2017starting at 7PM and also Monday, January 1, 2018 with a service starting at 7PM. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at the Thacker Memorial Funeral Home at 1PM with Pastor Tommy England officiating. Burial will follow at the Annie E. Young Cemetery, Pikeville,KY.
