In Loving Memory of Minerva M. Compton, 94 from February 2, 1924 to March 12, 2018 of Okeechobee, FL, formerly of Coal Run Village, KY returned to her Heavenly Father, Monday, March 12, 2018 with loved ones by her side.
Minerva retired from A&P Grocery Store after twenty six years of faithful service.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Alvin Compton, her parents, Sam & Katherine (Justice) Mullins, her Step-Father, William Aders
& her son-in-law, Dale Adkins, her grandson Jeffery Alvin Adkins & five brothers & two sisters.
Left to cherish her memory, her daughters, Brenda (Wallace) Hall & Vivian Adkins all of Okeechobee: her son, Ronald (Lynn) Compton of Shepherdsville, KY; seven grandchildren: nine great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and sister, Eula Salisbury of Titusville, FL.
Visititation will be Monday, March 19, 2018 from 6PM -9PM at the Thacker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at 12:00 P.M. with Sam Crawford officiating. Entombent will follow at the J.U. Thacker Mausoleum on Annie E. Young Cemetery at Pikeville, KY.
