Obituary for Joyce Ann Chaney

Joyce Ann Chaney, age 70, of Regina, KY passed from this life, Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Pikeville Medical Center in Pikeville, KY.
Joyce was born to the late Aaron and Elsie Lee “Hunt” Justice in Pike County, KY, March 19, 1947.
In addition to her parents, Joyce is preceded in death by her husband of fifty- five years, James Chaney and one sister, Barbara Sayers.
Joyce is survived by two sons, James Dwight Chaney; his wife Darlene of Pikeville, KY; Jonathan Dwayne Chaney, his wife Linda of Georgetown, KY; two daughters, Robin Denese Burke & Donna Jean Wiles, her husband Chris all of Pikeville, KY, ten grandchildren, Valerie Chaney, Devyn Chaney, Kyle Chaney, Kris Burke, Cameron Burke, LaDawn (Will) Brown, Joshua Chaney, Colin Wiles, Owen Wiles & Easton Wiles; two great-grandchildren Kaitlyn Brown & Blake Chaney; three sisters, Geneva Blair and her husband, Larry, Bertha Adkins and her husband, J.D., Kathy Matney and her husband, Buddy all of Regina, KY; and one brother, Aaron Justice Jr. of Regina, KY.
Joyce was a loving wife, a cherished mother, and a devoted grandmother as well as a great- grandmother. Joyce was one of the kindest ladies you could ever meet, she opened her heart up to anyone she met. Joyce will be certainly loved and missed by all who knew her.
The family will accept friends at the Thacker Memorial Chapel Sunday, March 18, 2018 from 6:00 P.M.-10:00 P.M. with services nightly at 7:00 P.M. Funeral services will be Monday, March 19, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. with Lick Creek Holiness ministers officiating all services. Burial will follow at the Annie E. Young Cemetery.
