Hannah “Tackett” Fleming, age 75, of Millard, passed from this life, April 25, 2018 at Pikeville Medical Center. Hannah was born August 14, 1942 to the late Clyde and Ester Tackett in Pikeville, KY.
Besides both parents, Hannah is preceded in death by her husband, Roy Fleming; father of her children, Dorse Gene Adkins; grandson, Nathan Smith; brothers, Eugene and Mason Tackett; sisters, Shirley Ethridge and Teresa Lewis.
She is survived by son, Greg Adkins and his wife, Linda; daughter, Sherry Sanders and her husband, Alan; three grandchildren, Nicholas Smith, Megan Adkins, and Kyle Justice; great grandson, Hayes Smith; beloved nephew, Chad Mullins; brother, Redgal Tackett; one sister, Ruby Hipke.
Hannah was a retired elementary school teacher with the Pike County Board of Education as well as a member of the Long Fork Freewill Baptist Church. She will certainly be missed by all who knew and loved her.
The family will accept friends at the Thacker Memorial Chapel Thursday, April 26, 2018 from 6:00 P.M.-10:00 P.M. with services at 7:00 P.M by the Faith First Baptist Church. Funeral services will be Friday, April 27, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. with Long Fork Freewill Baptist Church officiating services. Burial will follow at the Frank Tackett Cemetery at the Long Fork of Virgie, KY.
