Milford Chalmer Bentley, age 70, of Elkhorn City, KY, passed away at his residence Wednesday July 27, 2016. Milford was born September 15, 1945 to the late Milford and Girtie “Slone” Bentley in Pikeville, KY.
Besides both of his parents, Milford is preceded in death by one brother, Billy Bentley. Milford is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Claudetta Bentley of Elkhorn City, KY; two sons, Chalmer Edward Bentley of Youngston, OH and Trenton Bentley of Millard, KY; seven grandchildren, Chalmer, Chaylee, Claudia, Cambrie, Amarissa, Alyssa, and Trenton; one brother, Denny Reed Bentley of Millard, KY.
The family will accept friends Saturday, July 30, 2016, at 1:00 PM for a memorial service at the Glory Bound Freewill Baptist, located on Elkhorn Creek with DAV Honors conducted by Elkhorn City DAV Chapter # 140.
In leiu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Glory Bound Freewill Baptist.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Thacker Memorial Funeral Home of Pikeville, KY.
