Fernie Thacker Billiter, 63 of Shelbiana, KY passed away Thursday, April 12, 2018 at her residence.
She was born December 11, 1954 in Pikeville, KY to the
late Hibbard & Matilda “Kendrick” Thacker.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband James M. Billiter; second father, George W. Thacker; son in law, Brian Damron, four brothers, Terry, Roger, Mike & Hibbard Thacker Jr.
Fernie is survived by her loving children, Misty Sawyers of Pikeville, Stacy Damron of Raccoon, Chris Thacker and his wife, Chasity of Betsy Layne, three grandchildren, Addy Sawyers, Colton Thacker & Taiven Thacker, brothers, Darrell Thacker and his wife, Dewana of Clay City, Ronnie Thacker and his wife, Lola of TN, Tunis Ray Thacker and his wife, Kathy of Pikeville, Vallis Gene Thacker and his wife Ginger of Harold, Brad Thacker and his wife, Lala of CA; two sisters, Laura Cantrell of Mouthcard, and Betty Parton and her husband, Tom of Duffield, VA.
She will be sadly missed by all who knew and treasured her. Fernie was adored by her family.
The family will accept friends at Thacker Memorial Funeral Home from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Saturday, April 14 and Sunday April 15, 2018 with services at 7PM each night. Funeral services will be 1 PM, Monday, April 16, 2018 with burial following at Annie E. Young Cemetery. Estill Reed will be officiating all services.
